Course Content:
This course highlights the issues of Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) and Child Criminal Exploitation (CCE), raising awareness of the impact these have on children, young people, and vulnerable groups. It equips staff with the knowledge and confidence to identify risks, respond effectively, and follow correct safeguarding procedures.

Thresholds & barriers to effective safeguarding.

Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE).

Sharing information responsibly and effectively.

Case study and exercises – applying knowledge to practice.

When to act – recognising key signs and triggers.

Record keeping – accurate and confidential reporting.

The referrals pathway – what happens next.

Half-day course: 9:00am – 12:00pm.
Certification & Renewal:

Certificate of Attendance awarded at the end of the course.

Recommended refresher every 2 years.
