About Me..

Totally Focused on Building a Strategic, Quality Best Practice in Safeguarding & Child Protection.
With 28 years of dedicated service in education, I have developed specialist expertise in child welfare, child protection, and family services. My career has been driven by a commitment to ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and educational success of children and young people, particularly in complex urban settings.
As Child Protection and Family Services Manager for a federation of inner London schools, I have led cross-agency safeguarding efforts, working in close partnership with police, social care, and education welfare services. I have successfully reduced persistent absence (PA) levels and improved attendance outcomes in line with both local and national standards.
A passionate advocate for bespoke training, I design and deliver tailored programs that empower staff and enhance safeguarding culture across schools. In my former role as staff governor, I have influenced strategic planning, shaped statutory policy, and contributed to school improvement plans aligned with DfE and Ofsted expectations.
I regularly chair local authority (LA) core groups and strategy meetings, ensuring that child protection plans are robustly implemented and closely monitored. As lead coordinator of Early Intervention Foundation hubs, I focus on early, preventative action to achieve the best outcomes for vulnerable families.
My borough-to-borough safeguarding expertise reflects a deep understanding of Ofsted and DfE benchmarks for outstanding practice. I am proud that all Ofsted inspections I have been involved in have resulted in an ‘Outstanding’ judgment for safeguarding.
In addition, I value collaboration and have worked alongside respected partners such as Catherine Rushforth & Associates and Beehive Safeguarding Ltd to expand and enhance safeguarding provision
