Outline Of Supervision Service
What is Clinical Supervision?

A professional, collaborative process that helps individuals reflect on their practice, develop professionally, and maintain ethical and cultural awareness. It provides a safe space to explore challenges, successes, and professional growth. Sessions can be one-on-one or in groups and are guided by a supervision contract agreed upon by both supervisor and supervisee.

Normative – Ensuring accountability, quality, and standards of practice.

Supportive – Offering encouragement, validation, and emotional support.
Who is it for?

New and experienced staff.

Safeguarding Leads & Deputy Safeguarding Leads.

Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) Teaching Assistants.

Special Educational Needs Coordinators (SENCOs).
How and Where is it Delivered?

Online via Zoom (individual or group).
-
In-person at the workplace (for group sessions, if requested).

Tailored to the communication styles of each supervisee.

Setting targets and boundaries.

Managing emotions and maintaining wellbeing.

Frequency and Duration:

Monthly, half-termly, or termly sessions.

Typically 45–60 minutes per session.

Twilight sessions available (4:30–6:30pm).
